Course Schedule

ASA-101 Basic Keelboat

We offer the Basic Keelboat Course every weekend, year round, and can normally work you into the schedule with as little as 3 days notice. Weekday and private lessons can be arranged.

ASA-103 and 104 Combo (Basic Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Chartering)

We offer the Combo twice per month. It is recommended that you book this class at least 2 weeks in advance, as the class is limited to 4 students. This Class normally goes on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  

ASA-105 Fast Track Coastal Navigation

This course is offered once each quarter. Space is limited, so you need to book in advance.

June 12th & 13th, 2010

August 7th & 8th, 2010

November 13th & 14th, 2010

ASA-106 Advanced Coastal Cruising.

This class is offered at least once each quarter, but we can schedule additional classes when requests are high. This class should be booked at least one month in advance, to ensure a spot, but you can book later if space is available.

Scheduled classes:

Apr. 16th thru 18th, 2010

Oct.. 21st thru 23rd, 2010  (Harvest Moon)

ASA Instructor Qualification Clinic.

This clinic will be offered once in 2010. Space is limited, so you need to book in advance.

Sat - Mon    June 5th thru 7th, 2010       Basic Keelboat Sailing Instructor (ASA201)

Tue              June 8th, 2010                    Basic Coastal Cruising Instructor (ASA203)

Wed            June 9th, 2010                    Bareboat Chartering Instructor (ASA204)

 *                                                           Coastal Navigation Instructor (ASA205)

*Passing the basic coastal cruising exam is a requirement for Bareboat Chartering Instructor (ASA204).

  Candidates that score 90% or better will receive the ASA205 certification.
