Bobby began sailing at the
age of 8 aboard a rented sunfish on a local lake in East Texas. Over the
years since then he has had the opportunity to sail the waters of
Australia, New Zeeland, Hawaii, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Costa Rica,
Puerto Rico and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. In addition to his
extensive cruising, he has a well documented racing career including
local, national and international inland as well as offshore regattas
including impressive finishes as helmsman at Key West Race Week.
He holds ASA Instructor
Certifications in Basic Keel Boat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat
Charter, Navigation, Advanced Coastal Cruising and is an ASA Instructor
Evaluator.
Currently he and his family are
enjoying "Legacy", a Beneteau 473 that is docked at Waterford Harbor on
Clear Lake.
